Our Founder When yous take a passion for your work, it's easy to make it into a lifelong career. What's not so easy is to become a full-fledged specialist and build a reputation that will follow you through the years. That is what Mike Riley has accomplished with the Carburetor Shop, Inc. His quest for excellence in every carburetor repair or overhaul since 1965 has created a tradition across the USA , with Hot Rodders, as well every bit anybody else that has a carbureted engine. The UPS truck is a regular at Mike's shop, with carburetors coming from all corners of this dandy nation of ours. Not one to rest on his honour, he became a specialist in fuel injection and emissions, building a loyal following since fuel injection became mass-produced in most automobiles today. Mike Riley has been featured in many automotive magazines over the years. Many of the engineering science editors are personal friends of Mike's. The engineering editor of Route & Rail referred to Mike as "The Carburetor Wizard."
